Bio
Dan Bowen served on the Argentum Medical Board of Directors while Partnered with Shore.
Dan is the founder of Dempsey Ventures, LLC, a holding company focusing on investments in medical devices and professional sports. Dan founded two major medical products companies Aspen Surgical and SunMed. Aspen focuses on disposable products used in the Operating Room and SunMed is the leader in products used in Anesthesia and Respiratory. He sold them both to private equity in 2006 and 2021. Today both companies’ employ over 5,000 people worldwide.
Dan currently serves on the board of SunMed, TIDI Products, AA Medical, Marketlab, Lacks Industries and the National Hockey League’s Minnesota Wild.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University.
