Mike is a Vice President of Operations at Shore Capital, a microcap private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Mike’s responsibilities include working with management teams to improve the operational and financial performance, implementing strategic initiatives, preparing acquired platforms for add-on acquisitions, and handling post-acquisition integration. Most recently, Mike served as Chief Financial Officer for Pediatric Therapy Services, LLC, a Shore Capital portfolio company that was formed through the integration of three leading companies.
Prior to joining Shore, Mike worked at Landauer, Inc. (NYSE: LDR) where he was responsible for all Corporate Development initiatives and leading the Financial and Strategic operations of its Medical Physics segment. While at Landauer, Mike contributed to significant acquisition-related corporate growth, and meaningful improvements in segment profitability. Additionally, Mike spent several years in investment banking and provided mergers and acquisitions advisory services and debt and equity financing for middle-market companies across a diverse set of industries including healthcare, consumer products and industrials.
Outside of the office, Mike is actively involved with The Children’s Heart Foundation, formerly serving as President of its Illinois Chapter. He also serves as a Regional Council Board member for the Northwestern University Leadership Circle.
Mike earned his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and received a B.A. in Political Science from Northwestern University.
